Dickens’ classic ghost story has been produced for the stage before, but never like this. This new script updates the tale of the haunted railway worker to the London Underground in the present day, whilst retaining Dickens’ creeping sense of dread and the inexorable march to a horrifying dénouement.

The rehearsed reading will be performed by Harry Anton (Theatre credits include Judy! at Arts Theatre, Hedda Gabler at National Theatre, and Through the Mill at Southwark Playhouse); James G. Nunn (Theatre credits include Romeo and Juliet with both Rose Playhouse and Immersion Theatre); and Michael Langridge (Film credits include Through the Looking Glass and The Long Road).There will also be conceptual artwork for the production on display by Hana Erskine of Abandoned Stories.
